Katie Gilchrist has survived a brain tumour (acoustic neuroma) and has had to teach herself how to walk again and regain her balance and control of her facial muscles. She was one of my face to face clients back when I was doing face to face personal training and was an absolute delight to train. She focused on being strong, kicked alcohol to the curb and got some impressive deadlift personal bests. Her mindset and attitude is simply outstanding. Katie is an inspiration and her story needs to be heard!

Getting injured is part of the process of pushing your body to the limits but this doesn't mean you have to stop training. We chat about training around the injury, not through the injury and overcoming lower back pain, acute and overuse injuries and considerations for training as you age.
